Finally Delfini is moving next week to a new yard at  Jachtservice Haarlem  where Stefan van Hattum is to finish the refit.
We will be a little sad leaving Spaarndam which we got to know quite well over the past two years.

This statue in the village is of the little boy who saved the day by putting his finger in the dyke .Spaarndam is the supposed site of the event.

The photos shown here show some of the progress made in making DELFINI suitable for extended cruising in Europe. Once we began to rip stuff out it was as if we couldn't stop and before we knew it we had gone back to bare metal. The heavy work is now done and we hope to be finished soon. Most of the woodwork to date has been done at Sparndam near Haarlem by Ivor Booman and his wife Sylvia. Unfortunately for us they have now moved with their son Seth to Norway to start a new life so there has been little progress during the Summer.
